What to see in Paris in one day?

One of the trips we plan to do these Summer Holidays is visit Paris!

As costly as it can get, Paris is one of the most expensive cities in the World..so the trip will be short and we need to cover as much as possible.....yet after London it is the next best city percieved to be a "Must see" in the continent of Europe!

I have managed to short list a few places we must see finally...as usual after our trip you will get all the photos....meanwhile if you have any suggestions I will be really happy to hear!

Eiffel Tower

==Considered the lighthouse of Paris.
==identified as the absolute ssymbol of the city
==Built in 1889 for a Universal Exposition celebrating the centenary of the French Revolution of 1789.

Musee d orsay paris

A museum in a station

The history of the museum, of its building is quite unusual. In the centre of Paris on the banks of the Seine, opposite the Tuileries Gardens, the museum was installed in the former Orsay railway station, built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900. So the building itself could be seen as the first "work of art" in the Musee d'Orsay, which displays collections of art from the period 1848 to 1914.

Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Details of this can be seen under this link

Notre Dam

Jardin Des Plantes

Champs elysees

The Louvre Museum

Hotel De Ville

This is what I have researched so far?

Will keep you updated...finally what we manage.
